AUTHOR GUIDELINES
1. General Information
International Journal of Scientific Research BUTA publishes original scholarly research articles in the fields of humanities and social sciences. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.
The journal is published quarterly and operates on a double-blind peer review basis.
2. Types of Manuscripts Accepted
The journal accepts the following types of submissions:
- original research articles
- review articles
- theoretical and analytical studies
- interdisciplinary studies grounded in the humanities and social sciences
3. Language of Submission
Manuscripts may be submitted in:
- Turkish languages
- Russian
- English
Submissions in other languages may be considered upon decision of the editorial board.
4. Manuscript Preparation
4.1 Structure of the Manuscript
Manuscripts should include the following elements:
Title of the article
Abstract (150–250 words)
Keywords (4–6)
Main text
Conclusion
References
4.2 Formatting Requirements
Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
Line spacing: 1.5
Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
Pages should not be numbered
5. Abstract and Keywords
Abstracts must be provided in English
If the article is written in another language, an additional abstract in that language is required
Keywords should reflect the main content of the article
6. References and Citation Style
Authors should ensure that all sources cited in the text are included in the reference list.
The journal accepts internationally recognized citation styles, such as:
- APA
- Chicago
- MLA
Authors must use one consistent citation style throughout the manuscript.
7. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors
Authors are responsible for:
- the originality of their work;
- proper citation of sources;
- accurate presentation of data;
- disclosure of any conflicts of interest.
Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and redundant publication are considered unethical and will result in rejection.
8. Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. In cases of conflicting reviewer reports, a third reviewer is appointed.
The average review period is 4–8 weeks.
9. Open Access and Copyright
International Journal of Scientific Research BUTA is an open access journal.
Authors retain copyright of their work
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license
